Yemi Ayodele Ayeni bags an award

December 3rd 2015 was a significant day for the publisher and Editor in Chief of Treasure Magazine International, Yemi Ayodele Ayeni as he was bestowed an award of ICON OF PEACE by the National Association of Nigerian Students (Ekiti State JCC). Yemi Ayodele Ayeni was unanimously selected for this NANSJCC NATIONAL OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP AWARD (NJOLA) 2015 as THE NANS ICON OF PEACE. The event which took place at Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti witnessed a multitude of students waiting anxiously in anticipation of welcoming a man who has consistently made tranquillity among students his priority.

Placards of different captions rented the air such as ” we welcome Yemi Ayodele Ayeni to our citadel of learning, Ekiti State University”, Ekiti State Students felicitate with our Icon of peace”. According to the Chairman of NANS JCC, Ekiti State, Comrade Musa Surajudeen Opeyemi in his remark described the awardee as a worthy indigene of Ekiti State whom all students are proud of, “This is in recognition of your outstanding charismatic diligent disposition to human race with absolute fairness and accountability which has reflected in the sounding achievement of the social, economic and educational concepts in the State, coupled with your support to students/ youth initiative development in the State” .

The award was presented by Comrade Segun Maiyegun, a renowned activist who described Yemi Ayodele Ayeni as an “undaunted comrade who created a niche for himself during his days as a union leader in the University of Ilorin” Fans of the awardee came from far and near to represent him at the occasion as he was unable to attend but ably represented by the immediate past president of Federation of Ekiti State Students Union (FESSU), Comrade Oluwayomi Moses Abegunde supported by Femi Owoeye, Michael Kolawole, Ayodeji Layokun, Ifemide Fatoba (President of FESSU- Ekiti State University Chapter), Olumuyiwa Aluko, Ademiloye Moses (Moderator of Ekiti State Students’ Stakeholders Forum) , Tosin Ajayi and Oluwaseun Obayemi Forget ( the incumbent National president of Federation of Ekiti State Students Union-FESSU).
